Dick Biter is a found-footage horror short about two hikers who encounter a creature in the woods. It was part of the New Florida Cinema Halloween screening for 2021 and was the winner of the "No Budget, No Problem" category of the GainesCon Film Festival.
SiF Productions was started in Bradenton, FL in 2020, and Dick Biter was the studio’s debut film. It is intended for mature audiences as there is some swearing and gore. The project was put together by four amateur filmmakers for about $600. It was filmed in the Myakka area of Florida and features practical effects for wounds and stop-motion animation for the creature.

Shooting was completed entirely by the two actors, Joe and Alex. The bugs were atrocious, and a sneaking gator almost got a taste of Joe’s hand during a scene where the characters refill water from a stream. The biggest obstacle the team had to overcome was transporting all the needed equipment to the primary filming location. Unfortunately, the area was a couple miles into swamp land and non-permissible to vehicles. Joe and Alex strapped large rucksacks and a faux dead body onto their backs and utilized Future Motion Onewheels to facilitate the journey.
